Via Sottocorno, where our B&B is located, is a colorful little street of the kind that was typical in olden times Milano, but alas
vanishing fast. Of late wine-bars, trendy boutiques and small restaurants have been cropping up all
over the neighbourhood. Quiet yet lively, it is less than 10 minutes' walking from Piazza San Babila,
some of the world's most glamorous shopping and the Duomo.
The nearest underground station is to be found in Piazza San Babila; many buses and trams have stops
close to the house, so that you can easily reach anywhere in town, including the new fairgrounds.
The Central Railway Station is a 10-minute taxi ride away (more in rush hour traffic), or you can
catch bus no. 60.
Linate Airport is a 15-minute taxi ride away (more in rush hour traffic), or you can catch bus no. 73.
Malpensa Airport is about 40 kms away. A taxi ride will cost about € 70 and take about 45 minutes in normal traffic conditions. Buses run every 20 minutes to and from the Central Railway Station; fare is about € 6 and journey time about 50 minutes. There is also a train connection to the North Station, running every 30 minutes and taking about 50 minutes; fare € 11.
